Parkview has started construction on Housing NSW 6000th property – a $27 million wheel chair accessible complex in College Crescent, Hornsby.
The complex will also be one of the largest properties to be completed under the Stimulus program in NSW. It has 66 universally designed units installed with a range of adaptable features, ensuring that Housing continues to meet the needs of all its tenants.
Each unit will come with features such as bathroom and toilet grab rails, hobless showers and widened access areas.
In addition the units will feature a number of environmental features including instantaneous gas water systems, draught proof windows, energy efficient lighting and rain water tanks.
Housing NSW has achieved an extraordinary construction program over the past 12 months, with 6,031 social housing commencements and 765 completions across the state.
